Hotel Information

MODELS 2013 will be held at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa. The following details provide additional information about room rates and hotel information. We encourage all MODELS attendee to consider staying at the conference hotel.

 

Room Rates and Reservations

Hotel Registration at the discounted rates ended on September 6. Registration is available at the hotel website.

MODELS has negotiated the following rates for the hotel (rates do not include taxes, which are currently 13%):

Daily Resort Fee

There is a mandatory daily $12 resort fee per room per night that is not included in the Group Rate. The $12 resort fee covers resort amenities including HSIA/high speed internet access in rooms, admission to the Fitness Center, in-room coffee and newspapers, use of cushioned pool lounge chairs with oversized towels and umbrellas, poolside games, magazines, toys and floats, and poolside daily services including scented iced washcloths, afternoon ice-pop or granola snacks, fresh fruit and tropical non-alcoholic drink breaks. It does not cover customary gratuities for bell service, room attendants, and similar personal service, which guests may pay at their option.

Guaranteed Rate Protection

The Hotel represents and warrants that the Group Rate shall be the lowest rates offered to the meeting attendee during the meeting period, with the exception of government rates, air crew rates and negotiated corporate discounts.  Should lower rates be offered by the Hotel (excluding the above-referenced categories), the Group Rate shall be adjusted to the lower rate.

Please let the conference organizers know if you find a cheaper rate so that it can be adjusted for all attendees.
